THERE will be an abundance of magic at The Roses Theatre in Tewkesbury and The Theatre in Chipping Norton this Easter when MAC Productions present the children's classic The Elves and the Shoemakers live on stage.
Things are not going well in the shoemaker's shop - the old shoemakers are hungry and cold and down to the final piece of leather to make one last pair of shoes, and then help comes in a very unexpected way.
The show combines music, puppets and non-stop action in this new adaptation which brings the enchanting story to life. Two performers and puppets re-create the story, set in the disco days of the 70s, which is guaranteed to charm and entertain children aged three to eight and their friends and families as well. The show takes place at 2pm today in Tewkesbury and on Tuesday at 2.30pm in Chipping Norton. Tickets for Tewkesbury are priced £5.50, concessions £4.50 and are available on 01684 295074 and tickets at Chipping Norton are priced £5 and are available on 01608 642350.
