THE Wold Galleries in Bourton is featuring the work of Spanish pastel artist Domingo in its spring exhibition, which runs throughout April. The exhibition also introduces a selection of paintings by Jane Eccles, a graduate of the Cheltenham College of Art and Stroud Art College, who specialises in figurative painting.
Gallery owner Ella Havelock-Davies said: "This gallery has a tradition of showing work by regular contributors, not necessarily from the local area. Although he lives just outside Barcelona, Domingo has been exhibiting here for several years and we also have a strong association with Artists of Russia, an organisation that represents artists who are graduates of the prestigious St Petersburg Academy of Arts. However, there are of course, wonderful British artists and we were delighted to meet Jane Eccles who has strong local connections having studied art in the Cotswolds".
