WORLD famous saxophonist Scott Hamilton will play at Hanley Castle next week.
He will join Evesham trombonist Mark Nightingale and a host of other musicians for the concert at Hanley Castle High School on Friday, November 14.
American-born Scott has a reputation as an accomplished tenor saxophonist, playing in the tradition of Coleman Hawkins and Ben Webster. This will be his fourth visit to Hanley Castle, after performances in 1995, 1997 and 2000.
Mark Nightingale has been a musician since he was nine and has worked with numerous jazz luminaries, including Johnny Dankworth and Barbara Thompson. The concert will also showcase the talents of pianist Richard Busiakiewicz, bassist Dave Green and drummer Allan Ganley.
