Once again West Malvern's winter quiz season will wind up with a grand charity quiz with a £1,000 first prize to the winning team. It will be held at the Royal British Legion in Lower Road starting at 8pm next Friday, April 19. As well as the big prize, there will be many others (there were 70 prizes in the raffle at last year's equivalent event!) All the money raised will be divided equally between the Church Roof Fund, the Cricket Club, the Village Hall, the Royal British Legion, the Social Club and the Garden & Nature Club, so the event offers the chance to enjoy a good evening out while supporting a whole range of West Malvern voluntary organisations - a practical example of charity beginning at home.
