A PROFESSIONAL IT engineer who spends most of his spare time working with wood is a crafts group's craftsperson of the month. Martin Edwards, a woodturner who uses woods from both the UK and overseas, will have his work on show at the Oxfordshire Craft Guild Marketing Co-operative (OCGMC) Craft Gallery, at 7 Goddards Lane, Chipping Norton, from Friday, November 1 until Saturday, November 30.
His creations incorporate materials ranging from windfalls to exotic woods from abroad, which he turns into items such as bowls and wooden and acrylic pens.
Opening times for the exhibition are 10am to 5pm, Monday to Saturday.
