A WORCESTER amateur dramatics group is putting the finishing touches to its latest production which starts tomorrow.
St John's Players is to present Two of a Kind, a comic tale about the battles between an old sailor and army major in a residential home.
Ray Archer, who directed the show, said courtesy of a humourless matron and a number of farcical situations, the play offers a number of very funny moments, yet is also mixed with some poignant messages.
"It is a very enjoyable comedy which is very amusing, although has some sad moments as well," he said. "But it has a happy ending and will no doubt have audiences amused."
For more information or tickets to the show, which runs until Saturday at Bromyard's Conquest Theatre, contact the theatre's box office on 01885 488575. Tickets cost £6 or £5 with concessions.
